Poison Apple

Here’s another original from me

It took me a while to realize that eating a plutonium-laced apple would induce a couple of Leonard Cohen inspired songs. It didn’t feel that way at the beginning. After a while though I could tell something good would come of it.
We must strive to see the silver linings in life with all the crap that’s going down around us. What’s going down the most if we look closely is the No World Order!

Poison Apple II

When I ate the poison apple that I bought on the street
Made me wonder if it led to my final defeat
Pounding headache that I thought would make me cry
And after that I thought that it would split the sky

Trouble seemed to multiply and fall down like rain
And I felt my power dwindle like it circled the drain
Had to rally all my strength and I got a kick in the pants
When I realized that this might be my last dance

(chorus)
I said an incantation to call my spirit guides
Felt like I’d been cut to the bone
I knew that I would make it with them by my side
Remember we’re never alone

That part seems to flow into this part a bit even though I wrote it second.

Poison Apple I

He remembers this feeling, dark night of the soul
Light of day will bring his redemption
Poison apple played an incongruous roll
An accident? I never shall mention

As he took the first bite the flavor belied
The rocky path it would lead him down
At first he couldn’t escape, no matter how hard he tried
In his struggles he felt he would drown

With great effort he summoned what courage he could
To defend himself from evil’s wrath
But he couldn’t succeed while he stood where he stood
And so he launched himself upon a new path

I have some finishing up to tie it/them together into a song or two. We all have to be our own hero. And we need to remain tenaciously positive down this next rocky stretch as the so-called elites lose their grip on control of the planet.

Remember, the best is yet to come!!!

Karmic Debt

We hear all this stuff about karmic debt this and that, but sometimes do you ever wonder if there’s really such a thing? I mean, if it’s really real, what are the interest rates on it?

And if karmic debt is real, are there karmic landlords, too? Ya gotta wonder.

From what I gather, karma has been stepped up lately. Lines have been drawn in the sand and folks are having to make distinct choices. With choices come consequences of those choices. Right now on the grand stage we are witnessing those to whom we’ve given our trust being exposed to the light of truth. This also transpires on a personal level for us. On thing we gotta watch out for:

Instant Karmic Whiplash:

I was once a Babylonian wage slave
And I worked from dawn to dusk
I said, “It’s not okay for you to drain me dry
And discard my used up husk.”

We notice the man is acting like
He can do what he’s always done
In his arrogance he forgot the power
That is stronger than his gun

He forgot about love’s power
Moving in waves that are ever so fast
By denying it he’ll suffer by the hour
In a case of instant karmic whiplash

He may think he acts beyond Cosmic Law
But suspicion has been gradually growing
That chickens do come home to roost
He’s gonna reap what he’s been sewing

The jig is up now, sisters and brothers
We got a fish and it’s on the line
It’s the one that played us all for suckers
One too many times

With an iron fist he’s ruled for eons
Through deception and deceit
But a wave of love has empowered us
To sweep him off his feet

He foreclosed on old widows
His heart was closed from seeing their plight
They knew it was instant karmic whiplash
When he met his fate that late, late night

When the coroner saw his body
In that cold, cold coroner’s room
He said, “Instant karmic whiplash was
The reason why he met his doom.”

So if his minions try to lash out at me
Because they think that they can win
They’ll be hit by karmic whiplash so fast
That it’ll make their heads spin

They may think they still act with impunity
Pulling their schemes in the dark of night
But now they’re dealing with a unified community
And we shall shine our light
Yes, we shall shine our light!

Yep, the worm has turned and the best is yet to come!

THE WORLD CHIPS IN OVER $500K TO SAVE RON FINLEY’S GANGSTA GARDEN

Wow! This is so beautiful, and we can do it everywhere. Ron Finley’s right: if children plant kale, they will eat kale. It’s as simple as that!

THE WORLD CHIPS IN OVER $500K TO SAVE RON FINLEY’S GANGSTA GARDEN

In January of this year we reported on the effort to help save Ron Finley’s Gangsta Garden in South Central Los Angeles, a project which has inspired a global resurgence of interest in gardening, self-sufficiency and good health by growing your own organic food.

Faced with eviction after the project’s headquarters and urban farm was sold to a real estate company, a GoFundMe campaign was setup to help raise the $500,000 needed to buy the property and keep their hard work and vision alive.

“Over the last few years, the owner of the RFP property has been battling with the bank and has made several attempts to receive a loan modification to no avail. The bank recently foreclosed on the property and sold it to Strategic Acquisitions Inc. RFP has requested that Strategic Acquisitions allow them to continue operating from the location as to sustain with the important work they are doing in the community. The only solution they have been offered is to purchase the property, otherwise, face eviction.” [Source]

As of today, the fundraising campaign has now raised over $517,000 from some 2,656 donors form around the world who value the project and wish to see its continuance in its current location. Donors also include some high-profile people who wish to see this project live on.

The community rallied for him — even creating a GoFundMe page — that caught the attention of natural food giants Nell Newman, co-founder of Newman’s Own, and John Foraker, president of Annie’s.

“We had to come support him and fight no matter what to save it,” Foraker told CBS News.

The team created a Care2 petition to bring in more donations.

“It’s an opportunity for the natural foods industry to give back to support those areas that are food deserts that don’t have any,” Newman said. “They don’t have fruits and vegetables.” [Source]

At present, Ron Finley’s team is working to close the deal which would give them ownership of their headquarters, a place of inspiration and hope for many people around the world.

Something big is happening in this world when so many people are willing to put such a large amount money on the line to save a garden. It remains to be seen if the effort will pay, as the decision to sell the location to the Ron Finley Project is in the hands of the real estate owners who will have to decide if they will accept the sale of this property.

A petition has been set up to raise signatures in support of the sale of the property, addressed to Strategic Acquisitions, Inc., the firm currently carrying out eviction procedures against the project. Please help by signing and sharing the petition, here.

Will they do the right thing?

CBS News asked Finley thinks the owners of the land will honor what they’ve said?

“Let’s hope so,” he said. “They got a lot of money, but we’ve got a lot of people, we got a lot of souls. It would be beautiful if they did the right thing.” [Source]
