By Changing Nothing, Nothing Changes – Tony Robbins

Good one from April Stearns- time to just keep plugging’!

Our lives will come at us in waves. Sometimes everything is fantastic, and we feel like we are on top of the world. Other times, our day-to-day routine feels mundane or tiring, and we don’t know what to do about it.
If we feel unhappy with our daily life, this is when it’s most important to make small changes and pick up new habits. However, making changes may seem like the hardest thing to do when we’re down. We may want to drag our feet or ignore our responsibilities, making us crawl deeper in a hole.
We should try our best to overcome the urge to do nothing. It may seem impossible at the time, but making small changes to our routine is what will turn us around when we’re not feeling great. These changes can be as small as calling a friend or waking up a bit earlier to go for a morning run. Once we let ourselves do something new and unexpected, we may be surprised to feel better in a few hours, or even within a few seconds.

Passion Is Energy. Feel the Power That Comes From Focusing on What Excites You – Oprah Winfrey

This one came right when I needed it. There’s no time like now to remember my passion. Maybe you’ll like the song at the end that I’m adding: Passion by Nightmares on Wax.

Sometimes, a typical day or week can seem dragged out and endless. Maybe this is because we’re tired of doing the same things over and over again. Or maybe we feel uninspired with the latest projects in front of us. One way to make this cycle seem less dreary is to find and focus on something we are passionate about.
For some, their passion is the work they do at their job…and that’s great! We can all hope to be so lucky. But that is not always the case. And when our job doesn’t happen to be our passion, we should put thought and action into finding a passion outside of our daily work at the office.
This is because life is a lot less exciting and fun on a day-to-day basis if there is no passion for what we do. Our passion projects keep us engaged and feel purpose, even when times get tough. So no matter how busy or preoccupied you may feel, don’t forget to remember what excites you and work on those projects.

Motivation Time: Fly Like an Eagle

It is better to be slapped by the truth than kissed by a lie- Russian proverb

It started this morning as I went to the store to get supplies for our juice fast: a huge, dark shape in a roadside tree. I pulled to the side of the road and got out my cell phone to take a picture… yep! A bald eagle.

Two stops and 40 minutes later I figured I’d check the tree on the way home in case it was still there. It was! Except it wasn’t the same eagle. It had the same shape, perched on almost the same branch, but the dark head revealed it to be an adolescent.

In the afternoon I went to the park for some sun and swimming. While there we saw a large bird flying into a calm corner of the lake but it was too distant to photograph. A similar bird came almost right at us about 30 minutes later, but we couldn’t make out the head color because the sun was behind it. Fortunately, the white head came through on the photos I took on its fly by on its way back to that corner. Which means 4 eagles in one day, and from 4 separate encounters!

Yes, the eagle has slapped me upside the head with its message, which is to fly high, look down from our vantage post with knowledge and understanding to become the highest versions of ourselves, and to lead the planet into the Golden Age of the Second Renaissance that the ancients predicted. Now’s the time.

For most of us reading this (or writing it :)) it’s a matter of remembering what we came here for. Here’s a song I wrote a couple years ago that I saved for just the right occasion: Now!

Remember

We’re here to remember just how beautiful
This world that we live in was intended to be
We’re here to remember and to celebrate
How it feels for us all to be free

Can you imagine a world where everyone
Joins their hands together in one big family tree?
We’re changing the world now cuz we share the vision
That in each of us resides divinity

We’re tools of transformation if we choose to be
We’re discarding what bound us to the past
The fears that have controlled us are illusory
And now that love rules love is all that will last

We’ve spent many lifetimes in preparation
For the liberation of humanity
The trials and tribulations we have experienced
Were lessons to live us to live joyfully

We’re here to remember just how beautiful
The world that we live in was intended to be
Came back to help you remember and to celebrate
How it feels for us all to be free

We’re lucky to be here right now to take part in as well as witness the return to light of our beloved planet. Be grateful for that, work on yourself, and remember that the best is yet to come!

Poison Apple

Here’s another original from me

It took me a while to realize that eating a plutonium-laced apple would induce a couple of Leonard Cohen inspired songs. It didn’t feel that way at the beginning. After a while though I could tell something good would come of it.
We must strive to see the silver linings in life with all the crap that’s going down around us. What’s going down the most if we look closely is the No World Order!

Poison Apple II

When I ate the poison apple that I bought on the street
Made me wonder if it led to my final defeat
Pounding headache that I thought would make me cry
And after that I thought that it would split the sky

Trouble seemed to multiply and fall down like rain
And I felt my power dwindle like it circled the drain
Had to rally all my strength and I got a kick in the pants
When I realized that this might be my last dance

(chorus)
I said an incantation to call my spirit guides
Felt like I’d been cut to the bone
I knew that I would make it with them by my side
Remember we’re never alone

That part seems to flow into this part a bit even though I wrote it second.

Poison Apple I

He remembers this feeling, dark night of the soul
Light of day will bring his redemption
Poison apple played an incongruous roll
An accident? I never shall mention

As he took the first bite the flavor belied
The rocky path it would lead him down
At first he couldn’t escape, no matter how hard he tried
In his struggles he felt he would drown

With great effort he summoned what courage he could
To defend himself from evil’s wrath
But he couldn’t succeed while he stood where he stood
And so he launched himself upon a new path

I have some finishing up to tie it/them together into a song or two. We all have to be our own hero. And we need to remain tenaciously positive down this next rocky stretch as the so-called elites lose their grip on control of the planet.

Remember, the best is yet to come!!!

Power. Our lives are filled with moments when we forget our power. Moments of hopelessness, despair, or depression have plagued many a mind.
It is a human condition, of sorts, to not have expectations match up perfectly with reality. When the flame of passion begins to dull, that is when you return the power. It’s easy to forget that you have that control.
The power to change your life, has been lurking in the shadows. It’s waiting for the opportunity to make dreams come true. Chase those dreams until there are no days left on the clock.
Today’s the day to change our lives. Let’s light the fire.
