…Or we can write songs and sing them out with joy!
The Worm Has Turned
Today I saw Jay of the Blue Ray
And his message was loud and clear
So listen up closely all my peeps
If you’ve got ears to hear
Don’t be distraught about The Man
Taking everything that you’ve earned
He got fat and sassy robbing us blind
But now the worm has turned
The New Renaissance has taken hold now
And the meek shall inherit the earth
We got no use for bombs and guns
‘Cuz joy and love have greater worth
It’s time to be relentlessly creative
You know you can do it if you try
It’s time to find your greatest joy
And let your laughter paint the sky!
Don’t worry ’bout those Caustic Records
No matter how many times you’ve been burned
Things are getting much better now
Yes, remember that the worm has turned
You are the master of your destiny
The worm has turned and the fruit is ripe
Nobody can do it for you
It’s up to you to shine your light!
